At the opening ceremony, leaders of Binh Han ward informed that since the extended Tue Tinh street was put into operation and use since 2015, it has attracted households to do business in the fields of dining, entertainment, and recreation. . Based on practical requirements, Binh Han ward met to discuss and agree on the planning and management of this route and organize a culinary city. After the proposal to pilot the project “Tue Tinh Food Street” was approved by superiors, the Ward People’s Committee contacted and worked with reputable units with experience in organizing projects in the field. culture for implementation. This is the first culinary street of Hai Duong province.
The stalls at Tue Tinh food street take inspiration from the Thong Nhat train, running throughout the formation and development process of the ancient Thanh Dong, today’s Hai Duong City.
To meet the operational requirements of the street, Binh Han ward has implemented items on traffic infrastructure, trees, lights, environmental sanitation… Along with walking streets, Bach Dang night market, Tue Tinh food street creates a community culinary cultural space, stimulates tourism and consumption, contributing to building the image of Hai Duong City – a class I urban area with rich and unique cultural values.
Tue Tinh Food Street is more than 600 m long and is divided into 2 areas. Area 1 from Dien Bien Phu street to Tran Nguyen Han street has 50 households running restaurants, coffee, health care services, entertainment… that are operating effectively.
Here, Binh Han ward has embellished the sidewalks, marked pedestrian lanes, and expanded the rest of the business to rental households.
Area 2 from Tran Nguyen Han street to Ngo Quyen street, Binh Han ward has booths designed in the shape of train carriages, check-in points, performance stages and public spaces.
Tue Tinh Food Street operates from 6-24 hours every Friday and major holidays.
During the operation, Binh Han ward will close the road to use the roadside as a place to organize cultural, artistic and street food activities.
The remaining days of the week use part of the sidewalk for business expansion (after deducting 2 m for pedestrians), traffic is normal.
