Responding to the Provincial People’s Committee’s call to participate in “depositing savings for the poor”, Quang Dien District People’s Committee has directed functional branches, communes and towns to mobilize officials and people in the district. Accordingly, depositing savings to join hands for the poor in 2024 will be held the day after the launching ceremony. Through the ceremony, it aims to encourage organizations, individuals, departments, branches, unions, and businesses in the area to actively participate in depositing savings at the Bank for Social Policies to create capital for poor households and families. policy subjects for economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, contributing to the implementation of social security policies according to the Party and State’s policies. There are diverse forms of savings at the Bank for Social Policies including: Deposit savings; non-term savings, term savings; Term savings include many different terms from 01 month to 24 months. The savings deposit program – Joining hands for the poor is a humanitarian activity, demonstrating a noble gesture in ensuring social security and providing capital support to policy beneficiaries in the district so they can have add more resources to implement economic development, escape poverty, contribute to the implementation of sustainable poverty reduction programs, build new rural areas, and ensure local social security. After the launching ceremony, up to now (April 26), in the district, there have been 12 individuals participating in depositing savings to help the poor with an amount of more than 1.2 billion VND.
