Born into a family with a revolutionary tradition, at the age of 15, young man Le Kim Thanh (born 1953, Nha Mat village, Nha Mat ward, Bac Lieu city) enthusiastically set out to defend the Fatherland. After many years of fighting in Company 1, Battalion 180 (Tay Ninh) and his teammates achieved many victories. Peace was restored, he returned to his homeland, participated in government work, then returned home to do business.

Up to now, even at the age of 71, employee Le Kim Thanh still enthusiastically works in shrimp breeding and saltwater pouring, earning an income of more than 60 million VND/month.

During the resistance war, he was a loyal soldier. Now in peacetime, Mr. Thanh is an active and reputable person in the community. He regularly mobilizes family members and people to actively participate in local movements and campaigns, maintain security and order, contribute to the Social Security Fund, and help people in difficulty. hardship, illness, hardship… “As Uncle Ho’s soldier, it doesn’t change in wartime or peacetime. As long as I have good health, I am always willing to contribute materially and spiritually to my homeland.” CCB Kim Thanh always keeps in mind.

Leaving his family to join the revolution at the age of 16, after the country’s liberation, CCB Ngo Van Ba ​​- Vice President of CCB Branch of Hamlet 2A (Phong Thanh Tay B commune, Phuoc Long district) has built himself Shrimp – crab – fish economic model, generating profits of over 300 million VND/year. Not only is he good at family economics, he is also always concerned about finding ways to help his teammates who are still in difficulty. Every year, he spends his own money and mobilizes relatives and friends to contribute to buying gifts for CCB members, people with meritorious services, and households with particularly difficult circumstances in the hamlet. In 2023 alone, Mr. Ba has donated over 240 gifts and is currently continuing to maintain this humanitarian work.

Besides Mr. Thanh and Mr. Ba, in Bac Lieu province, there are many civil servants who live exemplary lives, pioneers on all fronts, and are shining examples for the community to follow.
