Subjects can use Deepfake technology (artificial intelligence application technology to create videos with images and character faces similar to the image of the person they want to impersonate), make calls videos (images) so that the victim thinks he is talking to his relatives and that the need to borrow money is real, thereby transferring money to the subjects.
5. – Research information carefully when choosing travel packages, you should choose tour booking, room booking, and airline ticket booking services from reputable companies or through travel apps (travel applications). To feel more secure, people can ask the partner to see the travel company’s business license, documents, practice certificate, etc.
– Be wary when receiving invitations to buy travel packages at very cheap prices (30 – 50% cheaper than the general market price); Be especially cautious when the travel agency requests a deposit transfer. If possible, make the payment transaction directly.
– Pay attention to signs of fake websites through website names and domain names. Usually the names of fake websites will be similar to the names of real websites but will have some additional or missing characters. Fake domain names often use strange extensions such as .cc, .xyz, .tk…
– For social networking sites that sell and promote travel packages, especially cheap travel packages and cheap airline tickets, people should choose social networking sites with green ticks (accounts). registered) or choose reputable social networking sites where you know the seller’s information. Confirm room and flight booking information to promptly detect signs of fraud and report to the nearest police agency for guidance on resolution./.
