Four smuggled e-cigarette businesses were fined more than 400 million VND

Nha Trang, including: NT T business establishment, No. 94 Van Hoa street, Van Thanh ward; business establishment D.V. D, alley 1A Le Hong Phong street, Phuoc Tan ward; NY COFFEE Takeaway business, Dang Tat street, Vinh Hai ward and HCH business, No. 15, Ngo Gia Tu Apartment, Tan Lap ward.

At the time of inspection, the units discovered that the above establishments were trading 2,175 units of e-cigarette products and e-cigarette accessories with a total value of more than 170 million VND of foreign-made goods. Through work, the owners of the establishments could not provide invoices or documents to prove the origin of the above goods. Market Management Team No. 1 completed the dossier and submitted it to the competent authority for consideration and issued a decision to sanction administrative violations totaling more than 132 million VND for acts such as: Trading in smuggled goods; Failure to notify e-commerce website sales to competent state agencies before selling goods; do not register to establish a business household. At the same time, apply remedial measures to force the above business establishments to return the illegal profits earned to the state budget due to violations in the amount of more than 279 million VND and confiscate them. All of the above goods will be processed according to regulations.
