(TBTCO) – On the afternoon of April 26, on the space of Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian street (Le Thai To street, Hang Trong ward, Hanoi), a photo exhibition opened: “Vietnam’s victories that changed the flow of world history.” world”, contributing to serving tourists and residents during the 5-day holiday April 30 – May 1, 2024.
The event was organized by the Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter in coordination with the B52 Victory Museum – Political Department of Hanoi Capital Command and the Vietnam Military Museum.

The organizing committee said that the exhibition displays 70 precious documentary photos recording historical moments of the nation’s struggle for independence divided into 3 main themes.
Part 1: The famous Dien Bien Phu victory in five continents shook the world (May 7, 1954 – May 7, 2024). Part 2: General offensive and uprising in spring 1975 with the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign, liberating the South and reunifying the country (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2024). Part 3: Hanoi – Hue – Saigon. The exhibition will run until May 31, 2024.

Even on the afternoon of April 26, the photo exhibition attracted the attention of the capital’s residents, domestic and foreign tourists.

Along with the above event, during the 5-day holiday, Hanoi authorities also organized nearly 20 cultural events and exhibitions to serve the people of the Capital and tourists coming to Hanoi. |
