Faced with that situation, the Company has established a Steering Committee and a team to help ensure electricity supply with the Company Director as the head of the Steering Committee. Right from the end of 2023, the Company has proactively prepared for power supply in the dry season of 2024, focusing on accelerating the progress of construction investment projects and major repairs of the power grid (completed before energization). March 31, 2024).
In technical operational management, the Company carries out repair, maintenance, and handling of problems and defects on the power grid. Pay special attention to distribution transformer stations and lines that are overloaded or at risk of full load to have solutions to increase capacity and level the load. Use a thermal camera to check the connection locations, contacts of equipment and lines… Up to this point, the grid and equipment have been guaranteed to be ready to supply electricity in the hot season.
The company organized a drill for natural disaster prevention and search and rescue in 2024 on April 14, 2024.
The management of the wire corridor is always of concern to the Company’s units, regularly reviewing and clearing the corridor, especially before the rainy and stormy season. The company has coordinated with Ha Nam Provincial Radio and Television Station, Ha Nam Newspaper and local authorities at all levels to carry out propaganda on ensuring high-voltage grid safety corridors, preventing grid incidents, and safe use. electricity in people.
The company has coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Nam province to develop a plan to ensure electricity supply and has been approved by the Provincial People’s Committee.
The Company assigns the Operation Management Units to regularly check the power grid day and night (check once a day/month; check at night once/3 months). In addition, at special times such as before and after storms (thunderstorms, tornadoes), extreme heat, the operations management units carry out comprehensive inspections to detect and promptly correct defects. .
To carry out effective propaganda and advocacy work for customers to participate in the Electric Load Adjustment Program (DR), PC Ha Nam plans to deploy DR in 2024 such as: Reviewing the list of customers subject to DR who has signed a DR load adjustment agreement; Work, extend and sign DR agreements with new customers, with DR expiring in 2023; Review the telemetry system for customers subject to DR, check the load chart of each measurement point on the telemetry system.

In 2024, Ha Nam PC has 235 customers who sign agreements to participate in DR. The total capacity of 235 participating customers reached 21 MW.

With the awareness that using energy economically is a matter of survival, especially in hot weather, the Company has implemented many synchronous solutions to save electricity. Specifically, proactively hired consultants to evaluate equipment that uses electricity effectively; Install additional inverters for motors of 7.5kW or more to reduce power consumption. Renovate factories and offices to take advantage of natural light, change lighting bulbs to LED bulbs. During peak periods, the Company proactively balances production and reduces the load of support equipment during peak hours. The company also develops regulations on electricity saving, assigns targets to each workshop and department; Regularly propagate to raise awareness for employees. Electricity saving results are considered a criterion for evaluating competition.
To effectively implement the Electricity Saving and DR program, the Company has assigned the electrical engineering department to act as the focal point and coordinate with the planning, production, and sales departments to exchange and update information directly. from the electricity side. When the electricity company announces the time when the load can be adjusted, based on the delivery schedule, the Company immediately develops a production plan and arranges workers to work increased or decreased shifts at the appropriate time frame.
“For example, if we only reduce a part of capacity, we arrange for important production departments, while the remaining departments do other things such as cleaning and maintaining equipment and factories. If we reduce the entire factory’s capacity, we will arrange for workers to take time off” – Mr. Kien shared.
In recent years, the Company has participated in load adjustment programs many times when notified by the Electricity Unit. There were times when the Company participated in adjusting and reducing the count by 6.5 MW. After finishing the load adjustment process, the Company coordinates with electricity to have a detailed report and review the production plan to learn from experience for the next time.
Currently, the Company’s monthly electricity consumption is about 3.7 million kW, the total amount paid is about 5.4 billion/month. Thanks to synchronous solutions, from the beginning of the year until now, the Company has saved about 2-4% of electricity costs every month, equivalent to 110-220 million VND/month.

To use electricity safely, economically and effectively during hot weather, the Company was consulted and discussed by Duy Tien Electricity on efficient and economical use of electricity, in accordance with Directive No. 20/CT- Circular dated June 8, 2023 of the Prime Minister on enhancing electricity saving in the period 2023 – 2025 and following years.
Based on the current state of the Company’s machinery and production loads, during the peak hours of the hot season (from 12:00 to 15:00 and 9:00 pm to 24:00 pm), especially the months of May, June, and July, the Company has solutions. Specific solutions such as: Replace old equipment with modern, energy-saving equipment; Plan periodic and regular inspection and maintenance of machinery, develop a plan to run machines for production in a reasonable manner; Take advantage of natural light sources, limit the use of lighting; Provide clear regulations on machinery and equipment operating time; Use alternative solutions from solar energy. If permitted and have specific regulations, the Company will install rooftop solar power to take advantage of the existing factory roof system and renewable energy sources from the sun. In addition, installing solar panels helps reduce heat (2 – 5 degrees) for the factory roof, thereby reducing large costs for cooling from air conditioners, fans, etc.
In recent years, the Company has participated in load adjustment programs many times when notified by the Electricity Unit. During the adjustments, the Company saved about 10 million VND/day and about 100 – 200 million/month.
To effectively implement the DR program, the Company has assigned the electrical engineering department to act as the focal point and coordinate with the production planning department and company office to exchange and update information directly from the Electrical side. force.
