In the Quynh Bang farming area of ​​Quynh Luu district, Dien Kim of Dien Chau district, over 2 hectares of shrimp farming area had the phenomenon of dead shrimp of unknown cause after stocking about 1 week.

The Agriculture Department of Nghe An province requested the authorities to strengthen their work and promptly handle the unusual deaths of commercial brackish water shrimp from the beginning of the farming season.

Faced with the high mortality of brackish water commercial shrimp in some farming areas and localities, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nghe An province has requested units such as the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Fisheries and Fisheries inspection as well as localities where shrimp farming areas are concentrated, strengthen inspection and disease prevention on shrimp, promptly grasp and clarify the cause and advise on how to handle it to avoid causing many shrimp deaths and damage. harmful to the people.
