Election of Chairman of People’s Council and People’s Committee in 2 districts of Quang Trach and Quang Ninh

At the meeting held on the afternoon of April 26, delegates based on the announcement of the Standing Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee and the Executive Committee of the Quang Trach H.H Party Committee on the introduction of candidates to run for the position of Chairman. Chairman of the People’s Council of Quang Trach District, introduced Ms. Vu Thi Mai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, to be elected by the District People’s Council to hold the position of Chairwoman of the People’s Council of Quang Trach District.

The district People’s Council delegates voted and elected the position of Chairman of the District People’s Council. As a result, Ms. Vu Thi Mai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Trach District Party Committee, was elected to the position of Chairwoman of the People’s Council of Quang Trach District for the 2021 – 2026 term.

Also on the afternoon of April 26, the People’s Council of Quang Ninh District also held its 13th meeting, electing the positions of Chairman of the People’s Committee and Chairman of the District People’s Council. Based on the announcement of the Standing Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee on the dismissal and introduction of candidates for the positions of Chairman of the People’s Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Quang Ninh District for the 2021 – 2026 term.

The District People’s Council introduced Mr. Pham Trung Dong, Secretary of the Quang Ninh District Party Committee, to be elected by the District People’s Council to hold the position of Chairman of the Quang Ninh People’s Council for the 2021 – 2026 term; Introducing Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh District Party Committee, running for the position of Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Ninh District for the 2021 – 2026 term.

The delegates voted and elected by secret ballot. As a result, Mr. Pham Trung Dong was elected Chairman of the People’s Council of Quang Ninh City, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thu was elected Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Ninh City with a vote rate of 100%.
