Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex was officially registered by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage in 2014, becoming the 31st mixed heritage in the world, 11th in Asia Pacific and a mixed heritage. The first combination of Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

The Deputy Prime Minister further shared that, after 10 years, it was recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage, with the drastic and determined participation, methodical and creative approach of the government, businesses and people.
