Busted an inter-provincial drug trafficking network, confiscating 2 guns and 29 bullets

On April 27, Nam Dinh Provincial Police said that the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of this Provincial Police had destroyed the network of buying, selling, storing and illegally transporting drugs from Hanoi to Nam Dinh, confiscated many exhibits including guns, bullets and grenades.

Specifically, at around 7:30 p.m. on April 22, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Nam Dinh Provincial Police arrested 4 subjects including: Dang Quang Khai (34 years old); Vu Van Thao (39 years old); Le Huy Quynh (43 years old); Hoang Thi Mai Trang (36 years old), both residing in Nam Dinh province.

The police confiscated 47 bags of suspected crystal meth with a total weight of about 2.5kg, 15 bags of suspected heroin with a total weight of about 150g, about 4,000 synthetic drugs, about 1,500 ecstasy pills, 40 funny liquid drug packets.

In particular, when the police urgently searched the residence of subject Le Huy Quynh, they also discovered and confiscated 2 handguns, 1 orange egg-shaped grenade, and 29 bullets.

Le Huy Quynh was identified as a key player in this ring. Quynh would “import” drugs from Hanoi, then divide them for consumption in districts and cities in the province. All transactions of buying, selling and arranging locations to deliver and receive drugs through social networking sites. Once the transaction was completed, the subjects deleted all contact information.
