VHO – On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory and the 49th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and unification of the country, on the afternoon of April 26, the Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter coordinated with the B52 Victory Museum. Speaking at the opening of the photo exhibition, Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Lan, Deputy Head of the Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter, said that the exhibition introduces 70 photos, including 3 parts: The famous Dien Bien Phu victory in five continents shook the earth (May 7, 1954 – May 7, 2024); General offensive and uprising in Spring 1975 with the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign to liberate the South and unify the country (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2024); Hanoi – Hue – Saigon.

Many works have brought viewers to relive the heroic historical moments of the 56 earth-shaking days and nights of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign in 1954, marking a brilliant milestone in the nation’s history of resistance, becoming a classic. epic song that will never die forever.

The exhibition also vividly depicts the great victory in the spring of 1975 through vivid images of heroic battles on fierce battlefields.

Deputy Director of the B-52 Victory Museum Trinh Thi Khuyen Luong emphasized that 70 years have passed, the Dien Bien Phu Campaign is a typical campaign in the history of our army and people’s resistance war against the French colonialists, defeating the French colonialists. defeated the French expeditionary force with strong military potential and modern weapons and equipment.
