Previously, Dakrong district police (Quang Tri province) discovered a drug transport network from Laos to Vietnam through unofficial routes in border communes of Huong Hoa district (Quang Tri province).

Accordingly, at 7:45 p.m. on April 26, in Thuan Hoa village (Thuan commune, Huong Hoa district), Dakrong district police presided over and coordinated with the drug crime investigation police department of Quang Tri province to catch 1 person red-handed. subject with evidence of 12,000 drug pills.

Exploiting quickly, a subject named A Khay Xay Nha Vong (born 1994, residing in A Xing village, Noong district, Savannakhet province, Laos) transported 12,000 pills of synthetic drugs from Laos to Vietnam for payment.

Currently, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Quang Tri Provincial Police is handling the investigation according to its authority.
