Speaking at the program, Mr. Bui Quang Huy said that towards the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, Youth Union levels across the country have organized many exciting and meaningful programs and activities. Mr. Huy said that from April 24 to 26, the Central Youth Union, the Central Vietnam Youth Union, the Central Vietnam Student Association, and the Central Team Council organized journeys to the source and the War Festival. The 5th National Dien Bien Youth Festival, with the participation of 550 Union, Association, Team, union members, youth, students, and children nationwide. The traveling group organized gratitude activities for people with meritorious services, remembering the source when drinking water, and repaying gratitude locally. The group journeyed towards Dien Bien Phu City, walking on the legendary road that our ancestors had marched 70 years ago.
Within the framework of the journey, there have been youth projects that have contributed to supporting difficult areas, participating in socio-economic development, and maps bearing the shape of the country have been given, to affirming the sacred sovereignty of the nation. In particular, on this occasion, delegates participating in the journey along with union levels and youth union members of Dien Bien province visited, expressed gratitude, and gave gifts to 131 veterans and former youth volunteers participating.
