The group TEMPEST – with Vietnamese members – will have the first live concert of their career in Ho Chi Minh City, on June 15.
A representative of the organizing committee said that the program is expected to take place at Phu Tho Gymnasium (District 11), part of a global tour. World premiere: The first ever live 2024 Tempest concert T-OUR: TEMPEST Voyage. Tickets go on sale on May 11, and the song list, ticket prices, and seating chart will be updated in the near future.

“The team carefully researched the location and many stages before organizing the program in Ho Chi Minh City. We hope the live concert can meet the goals of both revenue and audience effects,” said a representative of the organizing committee.
Playing the role of program producer, musician Huy Tuan commented that Ho Chi Minh City is the starting point for the first live concert of a Kpop group, contributing to making Vietnam a new artistic meeting point in the region.
In December 2023, TEMPEST first came to Ho Chi Minh City to participate in the HOZO International Music Festival, a music event that attracted thousands of audiences.
The news of TEMPEST returning to Ho Chi Minh City to perform made many fans excited. On the group’s fan forum, an account wrote: “Many Kpop groups often hold their first live concert in their home country, but they choose Vietnam. No matter how hot Ho Chi Minh City is, I will come.” Another person commented: “Hope Hanbin Ngo Ngoc Hung will perform many Vietnamese songs.”

TEMPEST was founded in March 2022, consisting of seven members: Hanbin, Hyeongseop, Hyuk, Eunchan, Lew, Hwarang and Taerae. Among them, member Habin – 26 years old, from Yen Bai – received attention from the audience because he participated in the reality show I-Land of Big Hit Entertainment, the company that manages the group BTS.
The young singer is constantly in the top contestants with high votes, impressing with his handsome face and good choreography. Hanbin was eliminated before the final, missing the opportunity to join the boy band Enhypen – debuted in November 2020. After that, the singer started working as a trainee at Yuehua Entertainment – which manages artists Choi Ye Na, Cho Seung Youn, Everglow, and actor Lee Do Hyun. Currently, the artist takes on the position of main singer and dancer of TEMPEST.

After more than two years of debut, the group won many awards at Korean music awards ceremonies such as Genie Music Awards 2022, Asia Artist Award 2022, Seoul Music Awards 2023, Hanteo Music Awards 2022, MAMA 2023.
