Investigate the case of a boy in Ho Chi Minh City suspected of being abused by a preschool teacher

On April 24, responding to VTC News, Mr. Nguyen Thai Vinh Nguyen, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City, said that this morning, the Police of Linh Dong Ward, Thu Duc City and representatives of the Department of Education and Training came to work in the Kindergarten Class. Ti Bo in the ward to verify and clarify the case of a boy suspected of being abused.

“Because this is an independent preschool group, under the management of the ward, the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City has proposed to suspend operations today, April 24. We are coordinating with the police and Ward People’s Committee to verify and handle the case.

As for the teacher who directly beat and forced food into the child’s mouth, the police are still investigating and handling it in accordance with the law. As for the remaining children, we have discussed with the parents to help them send their children to study in another unit.”Mr. Nguyen Thai Vinh Nguyen added.

The Head of the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City also affirmed that the unit’s position is that it cannot accept acts of child abuse. It is recommended that management units strictly handle it as a deterrent.

Previously, on the evening of April 23, several clips appeared on social networks recording a scene of a boy suspected of being abused by a teacher. Specifically, the boy was repeatedly pressed against the wall by this person, used a plastic object to hit him on the head, and slapped him in the face.

Too scared, the boy cried loudly and covered his face with his hands. Not only that, this person also pressed the boy to the floor, used his knee to pin his head and stuffed food into his mouth even though he was still crying.

This incident is said to have happened at Ti Bo Kindergarten in Linh Dong ward, Thu Duc city.
