“Hail occurred in some communes in the area, fortunately there was no loss of life. We are conducting statistics on damage to property and crops,” the leader informed.
Mr. Tenh A Keya, Secretary of the Party Committee of Long Luong commune, Van Ho district, said that the hailstorm occurred at about 4:10 p.m. today. The rain lasted for a short time but caused great damage to crops and people’s property.
“The hail turned the whole hill white,” Mr. Chiea said.
According to Mr. Keya, the houses covered with fibro cement panels all have holes; Many hectares of vegetables, plums, oranges, pears, strawberries… are affected.
At the same time, in Hang Kia commune, Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province, a hailstorm affected many houses and crops in the area. The locality is assessing the damage caused by the hailstorm.
