According to the report, on the evening of April 23, the People’s Committee of Linh Dong ward recorded feedback from people on the Facebook community group “People of Linh Dong ward” from 2 videos recording children being abused at Ti Bo kindergarten. At 9:00 a.m. on April 24, the Ward People’s Committee worked with Ms. Lam Thi Bach Nga, the owner of Ti Bo kindergarten. Specifically, the time of the incident was around 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on April 11 at Ti Bo kindergarten.

According to Ms. Nga’s presentation, the child NTC (5 years old, living in Linh Dong ward) refused to eat, cried, and covered his mouth, so Ms. Nga sat on top of him and forced him to eat tangerines, leading to the child panicking and crying a lot, affecting his health. young psychology.

With little TMH (6 years old, living in Tam Phu ward), because he was playing with and damaging his toys, Ms. Nga used a red plastic brick (a toy in the classroom) to hit the child’s head and used her hand to slap the child’s face. The baby gets scared and cries a lot, affecting the child’s psychology.

Also according to the report, immediately after the incident, Ms. Nga was aware of her violation, she proactively discussed and met to reconcile and compensate the child and family, but did not with family consent.

Regarding the solution, Linh Dong Ward People’s Committee issued a decision to suspend the operation of Ti Bo kindergarten class from April 25, 2024. The Ward People’s Committee requested Ms. Nga to comply with the decision of the Ward People’s Committee, ensuring full benefits for teachers, staff and civil liability for parents and children studying in the preschool class after decided to suspend the activities of the Ward People’s Committee.

The Ward People’s Committee coordinated with the Department of Education and Training to visit and encourage the young family scheduled for this afternoon.

For the parents and the remaining 22 children, the Ward People’s Committee directly discussed, mobilized, and guided parents to temporarily send their children to other facilities in the ward while resolving the case.

Regarding handling the behavior of Ms. Lam Thi Bach Nga, the Ward People’s Committee directed the Ward Police to continue working, verifying information, and advising on handling according to legal regulations.

On the same day, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City also issued urgent instructions related to the case of a preschool teacher abusing children that occurred at Ti Bo preschool class (address 149 Linh Dong street, Linh Dong ward).

Previously, VTC News reported that on the evening of April 23, several clips appeared on social networks recording a scene of a boy suspected of being abused by a teacher. Specifically, the boy was repeatedly pressed against the wall by this person, used a plastic object to hit him on the head, and slapped him in the face.
