Around 6 o’clock on April 25, gold price today trading at 2,316 USD/ounce, down 14 USD compared to the highest price in last night’s session of 2,330 USD/ounce.

Today’s world gold price has declined for the third consecutive day. The decline in gold prices took place after this precious metal reached a record high of 2,413 USD/ounce on April 19, due to increased geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

However, when the Israel-Iran conflict cooled down, investors reduced their need for safe haven capital in gold. Immediately, world prices decreased by more than 100 USD in recent days.

“The market is focusing back on US economic reports. If inflation data heats up, it will be very difficult for the US to cut interest rates. World gold prices could fall below 2,200 USD/ounce” – Mr. Jim Wyckoff , senior analyst at Kitco Metals, comments and forecasts.

In Vietnam, on the morning of April 25, the State Bank continued to auction 16,800 taels of SJC gold bars. Previously, SJC gold price on April 24 suddenly increased by 700,000 VND/tael, closing at the end of the day at 84.5 million VND/tael.
