Tomorrow (April 26), heatwaves will continue to occur in many areas across the country, especially in the North, the heatwave area will expand. Not only the Northwest, but heat waves above 35 degrees Celsius also occur widely in the delta region, including the capital Hanoi.
Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen and throughout the Central Highlands and the South continue to experience hot weather. Temperatures soared to 35-38 degrees Celsius, with some places experiencing particularly intense heat above 39 degrees Celsius.
The possibility of hot weather will last until the upcoming holidays of April 30 and May 1. According to an assessment from the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, the heat wave during this holiday season is quite special.

According to statistics over the past 10 years, there has never been a single year in the North, Central, and Central regions. The South also experiences hot weather during the period of April 30 and May 1. Due to the impact of the El Nino phenomenon, the whole country’s temperature is higher than the average for many years. In addition, this period is affected by pressure zones Hot low in the West causes widespread heat wave during the holiday season.”
After April 30, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in the North like on April 24, potentially causing thunderstorms, lightning, and hail. In the South, in the early days of May, the southwest wind begins to operate, the heat decreases but can cause seasonal thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, thunderstorms, and strong gusts of wind.
