On the evening of April 30, Ho Chi Minh City only displayed fireworks at 5 locations

The Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee has just directed the organization of fireworks to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and national unification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2024).

Instead of shooting fireworks at 16 points as previously reported, Ho Chi Minh City only held fireworks at 5 points. Including 1 high-altitude point at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel (Thu Thiem ward, Thu Duc city).

4 low-level points include: Thao Dien villa area (Thao Dien ward, Thu Duc city), shooting point on a barge; Van Phuc urban area (Hiep Binh Phuoc ward, Thu Duc city); Lot N4-D6 Tay Bac Industrial Park (Tan An Hoi commune, Cu Chi district); Dam Sen Cultural Park (Ward 3, District 11).

Fireworks display time is from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on April 30.

Previously, on April 16, Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee issued a document directing fireworks displays at 16 points, including 1 high-range point, 15 low-range points. One high-altitude point is the area at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel, Thu Duc City and points along the Saigon River.
