On April 27, Thu Duc City Police (HCMC) coordinated with related units to arrest 2 young men who stole motorbikes and 81 orders from a male shipper.
People chased the two thieves but could not.
The incident happened on Hang Tre Street, Long Thanh My Ward, Thu Duc City at noon April 21 – Newspaper Laborer informed.
Police also arrested two people who were accomplices of many other robberies. The case is still being investigated by the police.
Before that, on the afternoon of April 21, Mr. Huynh Van Son (working as a shipper) was riding a motorbike carrying a box of more than 80 orders ready to be delivered to customers. Arriving at a restaurant on Hang Tre Street, he parked his motorbike outside but forgot to take out the key.
At this time, two young men riding a motorbike approached Mr. Son’s car. After 12 seconds, the male shipper’s motorbike was taken away along with the cargo box (total order more than 11 million VND).
Mr. Son shouted and then along with the surrounding people chased the two thieves but could not make it in time.
