Information from the Inspector of the Hanoi Department of Information and Communications said that the unit just had a direct meeting with Tiktoker VML, after many times this person refused and did not accept the department’s summons.

L. is the person who posted a report accusing the owner of a pho restaurant in Hanoi of being kicked out of the restaurant for being in a wheelchair in January.

As a result of the meeting, L. admitted that the shop owner did not make offensive words about people with disabilities as he shared on social networks. The functional unit decided to fine the male Tiktoker 5 million VND, with a slightly reduced fine for disabled people.

On the evening of April 28, on his personal page, TikToker VML posted a video apologizing to the owner of Nam Ngu chicken noodle shop (Hoan Kiem district) and the entire community for the incident he posted in January.

L. said he met directly with Mrs. T., the owner of the pho restaurant, “so that we could understand each other better and “be grateful to Mr. T. for his tolerance and understanding.”

The male Tiktoker also apologized and was grateful to the community “for contributing seriously, allowing me to reflect on myself”.

TikTokers, learning from experience, will have to be more mature and careful in every word and action, trying to train themselves, avoiding mistakes and hurting the community as much as possible.

The male Tiktoker’s post in January caused a stir in the online community at that time (Screenshot).

Previously in mid-January, posting on his personal Facebook, TikToker VML said he and his girlfriend went to a pho restaurant near his house but were rejected by the staff, “My restaurant doesn’t have staff to carry people like you.”

Arriving at the second pho restaurant, L. said that this was a familiar restaurant and the two of them went in to eat normally. The seat was small, his wheelchair was slightly squeezed into the shop owner’s space.

“She stood up suddenly, scolded the staff, “Who accepts this person to eat here?”, the staff said “he often eats here, he usually sits like this”. Then I stand”…”, Mr. L. wrote.

In response to the above accusation, the owner of the chicken pho restaurant confirmed that Mr. L. is a regular customer of the restaurant, but his accusations were fabricated and untrue.

On March 28, responded to reporters Dan tri, Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Information and Communications (TT&TT) Nguyen Thi Mai Huong said that after receiving information about the above incident, the Department invited Tiktoker VML to work.

However, while working halfway through the session, this Tiktoker used the excuse of poor health to not sign the work record and asked for permission to work the next session.

After that, the Department directly contacted many times and coordinated with the local police to send invitations 3 times, but the male Tiktoker refused, avoiding receiving information and working with the Department.
