Before Al-Muftah was born on May 5, 2002, doctors diagnosed him with congenital degenerative spine syndrome (CDS), a rare disorder in which the lower part of the fetal spine does not develop properly. fully developed.

Despite having no legs, Al-Muftah enjoys playing sports such as swimming, scuba diving, rock climbing, skateboarding and soccer. At school, Al-Muftah often put on his shoes and played with his regular classmates. He even set his sights on climbing Everest, after conquering Jebel Shams, the “roof” of the Gulf.
