Vietnam team lost to Uzbekistan, still has a chance to win tickets to the Futsal World Cup

Having passed the group stage convincingly, the Vietnamese futsal team has a chance to win a ticket to the 2024 Futsal World Cup finals taking place in Uzbekistan. To complete the goal, coach Diego Giustozzi’s team must win against Uzbekistan in the quarterfinals of the 2024 Asian Futsal Championship at 9 p.m. today (April 24).

Previously, the Vietnamese futsal team had a 60-minute practice session at the Bangkok Arena, the venue for the quarter-final match. During that time, the Vietnamese players got used to the field, the lights as well as the feel of the stadium space.

Preparing for the encounter with Uzbekistan, the Vietnamese futsal team has the strongest force, the players are in a state of full strength, high in spirit and ready for the match.

The 2024 Asian Futsal Championship finals are also the 2024 Futsal World Cup qualifiers and the 4 teams with the best results at the tournament will represent the Asian region at the 2024 Futsal World Cup finals in Uzbekistan in mid-September.
