No investor has sent purchase and sale documents and forwarding electricity prices yet

Implementing the guiding documents and instructions of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Electricity Regulatory Authority on the negotiation of electricity prices and power purchase and sale contracts for transitional projects, on March 9, 2023, the Trading Company Electricity of EVN (EPTC) has issued a document 1790/EPTC-KDMD sent to 85 investors of transitional projects, requesting the following issues:

Review the project’s legal documents to comply with the legal regulations on investment, construction and get opinions from the power system operator on the absorption capacity of the national power system and the ability to solve problems. capacity distribution of the power grid related to the Project (according to Clause 2, Article 1 of Circular 15/2022/TT-BCT dated October 3, 2022).

Develop the electricity price plan according to the same cash flow discount method as guided in the Circular No. 57/2020/TT-BCT dated December 31, 2020 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Provide project documents by category (as appendix).

According to updated information, EPTC said that as of March 18, 2023, none of the 85 investors in transitional projects had submitted documents according to the above proposals.

In order to have a basis for implementation under negotiation in accordance with regulations of competent authorities, EVN/EPTC wishes to receive documents from investors of transitional projects soon to have a basis for taking further steps. according to the regulations and instructions of the competent authority.
