36 gold awards at the 41st National Television Festival

BPO – After days of many exciting and meaningful activities, tonight, March 18, the 41st National Television Festival officially closed in Hai Phong city.

After a hiatus due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the 41 National Television Festival gathered a record high number of works, with 714 works in 11 categories from 96 contestants. The works closely followed the mainstream news and clearly showed the roles, responsibilities and missions of broadcasters for the development of the country, with the information and entertainment needs of the public. The works are also presented in a variety and rich manner on many platforms, in line with the strong development trend of digital technology. This is a living proof that Vietnam’s television industry is reaching out strongly, catching up with global trends but still retaining its uniqueness.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha said that he was delighted with the impressive successes of this festival, but did not forget that the era of globalization and deep international integration; the strong development of science and technology; the fast movement of the world; The reality of innovation and dynamic development of the country today presents television with opportunities, advantages, and difficulties and challenges.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his belief that the team of reporters, editors and television technicians will always follow the breath of life; make the most of new materials and technologies to have products of high quality and stature, meeting the increasingly diverse needs of the audience; effectively contribute to the successful implementation of the task of national construction and defense, inspire and strongly arouse the aspiration to develop a strong and prosperous country.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee honored 36 gold prizes, 67 silver prizes, 139 consolation prizes, and 2 gold prizes for individuals. The work “Blue Arm” in the documentary genre of Binh Phuoc Radio and Television Station (BPTV) won the consolation prize at the festival.
