At the meeting, Mr. Sombat Chalermuwutinan, Chairman of AGR Group expressed his wish to develop a petrochemical center in Thua Thien Hue, associated with the Ken Bau oil field (located off the coastal area of Quang Tri – Thua Thien Hue province. Thien Hue); at the same time, investing in energy plants and supporting industry projects.
Mr. Sombat Chalermuwutinan introduced, ARG is currently the largest rice producer in Thailand with a turnover of more than 3 million Bath/year. In addition, ARG Group also invests in logistics and electricity. In Thailand, ARG has received strong support and investment from the Government, so the business has enough financial potential as well as potential to implement the proposed project.
Mr. Sombat Chalermuwutinan shared: “ARG Group has a strategic partner with strong financial potential and rich experience in developing energy projects, namely Sersamg Energy. These are very favorable conditions for the Group to invest in a petrochemical center project in Thua Thien Hue”.
Also at the meeting, the representative of Sersamg Energy Group – Mr. Tummavarankub, CEO of Information Group, currently Sersamg has many investment projects in the energy field in Japan, Vietnam and Mongolia. , Thailand.
In Vietnam, Sersamg has invested in solar energy projects in Quang Ngai, wind power in Tra Vinh… After the success of those projects, Sersamg wishes to continue implementing more projects in Vietnam. Vietnam, including Thua Thien Hue.
Mr. Tummavarankub affirmed that all three enterprises, Sermsang Group, AGR Group and ETS Holding Co., Ltd., with their strengths, will be determined to successfully implement the petrochemical technology center project in Thua Thien Hue province. Thua Thien Hue Provincial Party Committee Secretary Le Truong Luu affirmed that Thua Thien Hue will create the best conditions for investors to learn and research this project.
