America“House of the Dragon” – a prequel to “Game of Thrones” – attracted an average of 29 million viewers after five episodes, with the number increasing with each episode.
Follow Variety, experts evaluate the performance of House of the Dragon at an astonishing rate compared to movies on pay TV systems in the US. The series was well received, worthy of the brand’s fans’ expectations Game of Thrones. Season eight (final season) of the series used to attract an average of 43 million viewers per episode when it premiered in mid-2019.
Viewership in episode five – released on September 18 – increased by more than 3% compared to the previous episode. Experts predict the series will keep its form until the end of the first season and continue to increase in the following episodes.

Writer George RR Martin (author of the novel series) participated in writing the script with screenwriter brothers Martin and Ryan Condal. Director Miguel Sapochnik, who directed several episodes of the old series, also joined the crew. The series is expected to consist of 10 episodes, all of which will be released this year.
