Huynh Tu was born in 1991 and is a singer who made an impression when participating in the contest The Voice – Vietnamese Voice 2015. Although she did not go deep into the competition, many people remember her for her personality and playful style. In her personal life, the singer’s love story with her husband who is 5 years younger also attracted attention.
Recently on a talk show with Van Hugo, Huynh Tu talked a lot about life. Mentioning the phrase “dream”, Huynh Tu emotionally shared about his own simple childhood dream of having a good income to take care of his mother. Hit owner One-way emphasized that as long as you have an honest job and earn money to cover your life, it is very good.

“I liked to sing since I was little but was not oriented towards a musical path. When I graduated from grade 12, I asked my mother to let me go to music school but was opposed. Huynh Tu said. The reason the singer’s mother objected was because she was afraid that her child would not be able to find a job because of the harsh artistic path.
“Even for myself, I didn’t think that one day I would be known by the audience and hold a microphone to sing on large and small stages. I think back on the journey I have gone through in recent years, there have been many turmoils and I did not think they would happen.” Huynh Tu added.
As for her son, she shares that her husband and she are very supportive of their son pursuing art. The female singer often registers her children to attend gifted classes during the summer. She said her son loves learning to dance but does not like singing. “We let our children experience the journey of childhood and live at the right age”, she said. The singer and her husband do not interfere too much with their child’s wishes or dreams.

In the journey to becoming a professional singer, Huynh Tu is the one who accompanies himself on the path to realizing his dream. She confided that only when her dream became reality did she dare to inform her mother. To progress in his career, Huynh Tu said he had to borrow money to buy songs instead of continuing to cover popular songs. She said it was a way to assert her name.
In her current married life, Huynh Tu has changed after many years of living with her husband. She shared: “We have to accept each other from the little things. In the past, there were questions that weren’t stressful at all, but because of my ego, I was willing to argue. Now, I realize it’s not worth it, it only brings negativity to myself and my family. I choose to abstain to build a peaceful family. In the past 2-3 years, my husband and I no longer argue.”

Husband confided to Huynh Tu: “Try to accompany me. Children grow up very quickly, when they grow up and have friends they won’t need my company anymore.” The singer and her husband agreed to always listen to their children’s wishes and ambitions: “If your child is passionate about art. My husband and I are ready to accompany our children to build that dream into reality.”
Recently, while watching the show Super mom, the play that Thao Trang and her son Alex participated in, made Huynh Tu feel sad. She recalls the time when she couldn’t arrange a time to take her children to school because of the nature of her singing job, which required her to leave early and stay late.
“Recently, I told my sister, Mom, please take me to school. I said I always feel tired and I haven’t taken my child to school in a long time.” Huynh Tu told Van Hugo.
Huynh Tu felt sad when his son confided: “It’s been a long time since I took you to school.”
The husband said his son loved his mother very much and loved her the most, so he wanted her to take him to school. Hearing the guest’s story, Van Hugo sympathized and shared: “Children are very pure and innocent, so sometimes their dreams are very simple and small. For example, Pham Quynh Anh’s child has a dream that his mother plays Lego with him. That’s very lovely.”
The singer added: “When I go out, someone asks me what I’m doing. Just say, I’m a housewife.” However, the female singer accepted her son’s objections and proudly showed off her mother as a singer to everyone.
She revealed: “In the first episode of The Mask Singer, I voluntarily stopped taking antidepressants even though the doctor had not given permission.”
