Russia ‘joined forces’ with a Central American country, planning actions to counter sanctions from Washington

On April 23, Nicaraguan Vice President Rosario Murillo said that the content of the above document addresses methods and measures to combat, minimize and compensate for damages caused by acts of aggression, attack, unilaterally impose coercive and illegal sanctions against this country and Russia.

TASS reported, the joint statement emphasized that the application of unilateral coercive measures imposed by a third country or a group or association of countries should not be recognized.

Any country using unilateral coercive sanctions is illegal, contrary to the United Nations Charter as well as international law, and will entail international responsibility.

The declaration strongly calls for restraint in adopting measures that hinder comprehensive economic and social development, especially in developing countries.

Previously, on April 22, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Mr. Laureano Facundo Ortega Murillo, advisor to Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega on investment, trade and international cooperation, and special representative for Russia, signed a document. above version at a meeting in Moscow.
