Swimming under the sea, a female diver was led by an octopus to an unbelievable place

--

Page News.com.au reported that on April 18, an Australian female diver named Jules Casey experienced “unforgettable moments of her life” when an octopus led her to an unexpected location.

According to the report, the octopus with tentacles up to 3 meters long grabbed the female diver’s hand and wanted to lead her away. At first, she thought the octopus was just curious about her. However, the animal then pulled her hand and swam away.

At this point, Casey understood that the octopus wanted to take her to some secret place. Casey was also very curious to see where it led her so she quietly swam along.

“The octopus swam for a while then stopped and looked back at me, as if it wanted to make sure I was still following. It felt like it was convincing, so I thought, okay, I’ll follow and see what happens”Casey recounted.

After a few minutes of swimming with the octopus in the waters off the Mornington Peninsula (Australia), Casey was startled to discover that the place he was leading to was a secret tombstone on the seabed.

The tombstone has an image of a man holding a white dog and the word Lorenz. The octopus swam around, clinging tightly to the tombstone, seemingly happy to be able to guide Ms. Casey there.

Afterwards, Casey told the story of his encounter to local divers. But the surprising thing was that she met a man. This person said he was the one who set up the tombstone and placed the underwater statues for his deceased friend named Lorenz.
