NATO has announced the organization of military exercises in Finland, Russia’s neighbor, from April 26.

Regarding NATO’s upcoming exercise plan in Sweden, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova today (April 24) announced: “NATO is continuing military exercises in a once neutral country, a respected participant in discussions on enhancing stability and security. Exercises near Russia’s border are provocative in nature, aimed at putting pressure on Russia through displays of military power.”
