According to RT news agency, on April 23, Ukraine announced that it would stop consular services for men of military age abroad. Accordingly, Ukrainian men from 18 to 60 years old living abroad will not be able to renew expired passports, or apply for new passports.

On April 24, sharing with Polsat News television station, Polish Defense Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz said he was “not surprised” and supported Kiev’s move. There are currently about 950,000 Ukrainians temporarily residing in Poland.

“The Ukrainian government is doing everything possible to send new soldiers to the front line because the need is currently very great,” Mr. Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized.
