A senior Hamas figure further informed that Hamas wants to join the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) to form a unified government to control Gaza and the West Bank.

According to AP, it is “unlikely” that Israel would agree to Hamas’s terms. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to continue fighting Hamas until this force is completely destroyed.
