“The city (Kiev) is starting to urgently evacuate two hospitals, including a children’s hospital, located on Bohatyrska Street” – newspaper Ukrainska Pravda citing the announcement on Telegram of the Kiev government on April 26.

The above move took place after a video was spread online announcing that Russia would attack these medical facilities.

According to the video, the above hospitals are housing Ukrainian soldiers, so they will become Russian military targets.

However, the Kiev government countered: “This is a complete lie and provocation by the enemy. They are trying to take advantage of this to attack the social infrastructure of the capital Kiev.”

At the same time, it was further informed that Kiev “is doing everything possible to transfer patients and doctors to other medical facilities in the capital”.

Kiev authorities asked the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Ministry of Health for support, informing them about the measures being taken to protect patients and medical staff.

According to Ukrinform News Agency, during the two years of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, at least 1,581 medical facilities were damaged and 210 others were completely destroyed.
