“Shaking hands” with Nvidia to open an AI factory, how is FPT of giant Truong Gia Binh doing?

On the stock market, FPT has continuously increased strongly in recent times.

Supply at low prices is almost gone, demand has improved, making the market green from the moment it opened.

Stocks of most industries increased, in which, attracting cash flow were technology and information stocks, stocks, real estate, and banks.

Real estate stocks increased quite strongly with a series of stocks hitting the ceiling such as PDR, DIG, NLG, TCH, DXG, and NBB. Many other codes increased by 3% or more such as NVL, KDH, KBC, VCG,… In the group of securities stocks, SSI increased by 3.33%, VND increased by 6.09%, VCI increased by 4.28%, HCM increased by 4.93%,… The strongest increase in the banking group was CTG and TPB both increased by over 4%. In addition, MBB, STB, LPB, SHB, OCB increased by over 2%.

With the leadership of large capitalization groups, VN-Index continuously expanded its upward momentum.

As a result of the trading session on April 24, Vn-Index increased 28.21 points (2.4%) to 1,205.61 points. HNX-Index increased 5.24 points, equivalent to 2.35%, reaching 227.87 points. UPCoM Index decreased 0.51%, equivalent to 0.58 points, to 87.51 points.

The downward momentum was pushed back

Although the market increased sharply, liquidity only increased slightly. Total transaction value reached more than 21.7 trillion VND. On the entire HoSE floor, there were 435 codes increasing in price, 39 codes remaining at reference price and 69 codes decreasing. Foreign investors again stepped up transactions with a total purchase value of nearly VND 2,500 billion.

FPT is the stock that has the most positive impact on the main index, bringing 2.52 points to Vn-Index. In the opposite direction, STG took away 0.05 points from Vn-Index.

FPT has continuously increased strongly recently. Especially in the April 24 session, this stock broke out 5% to 120,100 VND/share, thereby surpassing its historical peak. The corresponding market capitalization increased by more than 10,000 billion VND after one session to 150,000 billion VND. Closing today’s session, the ceiling price surplus reached more than 1.8 million units.

The positive increase of the stock took place after the news that FPT Group and Nvidia Group cooperated to build an artificial intelligence factory.

Specifically, on April 23, FPT and Nvidia signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement to promote artificial intelligence (AI) research. The two sides plan to build an artificial intelligence factory (AI Factory), train high-quality human resources and become service development partners in Nvidia’s partner network.

FPT of tycoon Truong Gia Binh has increased sharply in recent times

FPT plans to invest 200 million USD to build AI Factory to provide a cloud computing platform for AI research and development and sovereignty in Vietnam. The factory includes supercomputer systems operating on Nvidia’s latest technology.

The factory is assessed to contribute to improving Vietnam’s ability to provide high-tech solutions in AI and cloud on a global scale, while enhancing technology human resources.

In the first quarter of 2024, FPT recorded net revenue of 14,093 billion VND and pre-tax profit of 2,534 billion VND, up 21% and 19% respectively over the same period. Net profit increased 20% to VND 1,798 billion and is also the highest quarterly profit in FPT’s operating history.
