In order to support the government and people of some localities in Tien Giang province who are having difficulty accessing domestic water sources due to hot weather, Larue Beer (a brand of Heineken Vietnam Brewery Company Limited) , quickly implemented the program “Larue brings drinking water to Tien Giang”.
Accordingly, in just the first week (April 17 – April 23, 2024), 16 tanker trips with 160,000 liters of domestic water came to people in 8 communes in 2 districts of Tan Phu Dong and Go Cong Dong (Tien Giang province). includes communes: Phu Dong, Phu Tan, Phu Thanh, Tan Thoi, Tan Dong, Tan Dien, Gia Thuan and Binh Nghi.
Previously, in response to the harsh sunshine expected to last this year’s dry season and the severe impact of saltwater intrusion, the People’s Committee of Tien Giang province decided to declare a natural disaster emergency and call Call for measures to respond, overcome and limit consequences.
In addition to the companionship of local authorities and partners, the “Larue brings clean water to Tien Giang” program also has the large volunteer participation of Larue Beer staff.
