Ho Chi Minh CityThu Duc City Police are working with the people involved to clarify the case of Ti Bo children’s group teacher cornering a child, hitting, slapping, and pressing on him.
The behavior of the woman in black was shown in a video distributed online on the evening of April 23. While pressing on the 4-5 year old boy, this woman stuffed an object that looked like western medicine into the boy’s mouth. In another video, this person cornered the child, hit and slapped him even though he was crying.
The incident took place in the classroom, in front of many other children, and the person recording the video was likely another nanny of the group of children.

On the morning of April 24, Mr. Nguyen Thai Vinh Nguyen, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City, said the incident took place in the Ti Bo children’s group, with 9 children 3-6 years old. Upon receiving the information, the department coordinated with local police to verify and handle the matter. “This group of children will be suspended from tomorrow. The department will support parents to send their children to neighboring class groups,” Mr. Nguyen said.
The incident is said to have occurred on April 11. This morning, Thu Duc City Police and Linh Dong Ward Police went to the Ti Bo facility to take statements from those involved and extracted cameras to clarify the incident.
