On the morning of May 26, Vietnam Maritime University held a conference to summarize and award the “Scientific Research Student” award at the school year 2022-2023; commended students who won high prizes in the World Office Informatics Championship-Viettel 2023.
In the academic year 2022-2023, the University’s Scientific Council evaluated and accepted 139/154 scientific research projects and selected 25 excellent topics to report at the awarding conference “Students study science“. As a result, there are 18 works selected for the award “Students study science“The school year 2022-2023, including: 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 11 consolation prizes. According to the evaluation, the scientific research works are of good quality, meticulously invested, scaled, and built visual product models. Many products have practical applicability.
On that basis, the school selected 5 research projects to submit to the selection of the Science and Technology Award for students in higher education institutions in 2023. At the conference, the Youth Union-Association School students give “VMU Young Innovation Award“Award to a group of students who excel in scientific research activities.
On this occasion, Vietnam Maritime University commended and rewarded lecturers and students with high achievements at the National Final Round of the World Office Informatics Championship MOSWC-Viettel 2023 which took place on 16/02. last 4. This year’s competition, Vietnam Maritime University has 17 contestants participating in the national final round. Overcoming 150 excellent candidates from high schools, colleges, universities and academies across the country, the team of Vietnam Maritime University won 16 prizes including: 2 first prizes, 5 prizes. second, 6 third prizes and 3 consolation prizes. This is the 4th year in a row that Vietnam Maritime University has students winning the first prize.
2 contestants won the first prize including: Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc, class LQC61 (1st prize in the content of Excel 2016 exam) and Pham Trung Nam, class KTN60 (1st prize in the content of the Excel 2019 exam) will represent Vietnam to participate in the Final Round of the World Office Informatics Championship MOSWC-Viettel 2023 held in Orlando, Florida (USA) at the end of July 2023.
