Actor Brad Pitt displays nine of his artworks at the gallery in Tampere, Finland.
On the evening of September 18, artist DeBranne Treu – a friend of Brad Pitt – posted pictures of works in the exhibition. Thomas Houseago’s WE with Nick Cave & Brad Pitt at the Sara Hilden Art Museum on September 17.
Brad Pitt uses different materials such as plaster, silicon platinum, bark, copper… to compose. Work Candle Holders for Loved Ones conceived and implemented by the actor during the Covid-19 period, including wooden candle holders. Another work has the shape and size of a coffin carved with limbs and heads as if trying to escape.

Brad Pitt has shown a passion for art since the beginning of his marriage to Angelina Jolie. After they divorced in 2016, the actor once buried himself in the art studio of his close friend Thomas Houseago in Los Angeles to study sculpture. He also studied painting from British artist Colin Davidson, working on pottery with Leonardo DiCaprio in his home studio.

In addition, Brad Pitt has a hobby of collecting art items. He and his ex-wife – Angelina Jolie – used to collect many expensive works and own a private gallery in Château Miraval, southern France. Wealth-X estimates Brad Pitt’s art collection to be worth $25 million. Some outstanding works include paintings by street artist Banksy, watercolor works by Canadian artist – Marcel Dzama.
During the 2020 Marc Marron podcast interview, Brad Pitt refused to call himself a collector. The actor explained that he doesn’t consider the artwork as an investment. “I care about certain things that make me want to be around every day, and that can inspire my kids,” he says.

Currently Brad Pitt gradually eases the pain after the divorce, enjoying the single life. According to the source in the magazine People, the actor is dating but not in a serious relationship. His latest movie – Bullet Train – currently getting 7.5 points out of IMDb and 54 points from the above reviewers Rotten Tomatoes.
