BTC Miss Vietnam apologizes for Phuong Anh’s see-through dress

The beauty was a guest, giving the first runner-up prize to Trinh Thuy Linh, at the final contest on the evening of December 23. She wears a yellow fishtail dress with a see-through lower body. In many screenshots, the runner-up almost shows her legs and hips under the skirt. After the competition night, many viewers shared Phuong Anh’s pictures on social networks, criticizing her for wearing indiscriminately and less charming.

On the afternoon of December 25, the representative of the contest organizers said in a press release: “It is very unfortunate that an accident with the outfit worn by runner-up Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh happened. being hit by light at certain angles, creating a bad image on the stage.. above incident”.

Before that, Phuong Anh said she was embarrassed to see her unflattering images. She apologized to the audience, and said she learned from her experience in choosing costumes.

Ms. Pham Kim Dung – deputy organizer of the contest – said that the dresses worn by the beauties and contestants were all approved by the team before the final time. However, at the rehearsal, the organizers did not use all the lights so they couldn’t see it. According to Ms. Dung, Phuong Anh was wearing a nude bodysuit inside. She wants the audience to be generous with the runner-up.

Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh is 24 years old this year, was crowned Miss Ao Dai Vietnamese Schoolgirl 2015 before becoming the 1st runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2019. Phuong Anh is highly regarded for her education. She used to be the valedictorian in the bilingual block of Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted, Ho Chi Minh City. Phuong Anh also won the third national prize for excellent students in French and was admitted directly to Hanoi Foreign Trade University and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.

In March 2021, the beauty graduated valedictorian in Information Management Systems from RMIT University. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Japanese, including IELTS 8.0. She is currently pursuing work as a model, MC, TV editor. New beauty contest Miss International, failed to top 15.
